The location was magnificent and absolutely perfect, in a beautiful area of Scotland with easy access to a market and shops. Also, The Whim was 3 km away. Loved how the newly decorated room with huge bed was arranged when we arrived.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, food in the bar was quite good.
Bedroom decor was dark, gloomy and very unattractive. Lighting was quite inadequate for reading. Paintwork, carpets etc would benefit greatly from a thorough cleaning.

Staff very welcoming, efficient service ,hearty breakfast .
Although rooms were clean, warm, the furniture and bathroom was little dated would benefit from makeover, However would definately recommend to others and stay again.

Everything about this hotel was just lovely. Traditional Scottish hotel with beautiful decor inside, lovely log fires & friendly staff. We had a lovely time and will be returning very soon. I would recommend staying here to anyone who loves Scotland. The added bonus is that the train station is just behind the hotel, so you can travel without the car too.

Cozy atmosphere with a charming log fire.
Room decor and furniture feels outdated and in need of refresh.

Friendly welcoming staff, great breakfast and large warm bedrooms, all in all a fantastic hotel that is attached to a pub, and offers quality accommodation at a decent price.

Warm lounge with lovely fire gave the whole area a welcoming glow. nice array of comfy seats-old fashioned atmosphere. Restaurant setting quite unusual and attractive. Food -prompt service and good value. Old radiators in bedroom gave out great warmth

The staff were cute and the breakfast offered a variety of options, including homemade Majorcan products. The restaurant was unexpectedly closed , which diminished the dining experience. The room, although superior, felt bland and lacked charm. The bar closed earlier than expected without prior notice.

Proximity to Blair Atholl castle - we were attending a concert Nice open fires Good bar meals Friendly
Breakfast was a disaster - should be a nice memory as it is the last thing you do there!! The Great Hall where we had breakfast is magnificent. However.. Very rushed service Plates hot - food cold. How do they do it?? We think breakfast chef did not care at all

As we were attending a concert at Blair Castle the location was excellent. Room was comfortable and well appointed for our needs. Breakfast was top drawer.
Returning from the concert, it was only 11pm, both the Bothy bar and the hotel bar were shut !!! Despite the hotel being busy and there being people in the bar area looking for service this provision was incredibly closed. After remonstrating with staff we managed to purchase some bottled beer. It beggars belief. Poor in the extreme.
